Dear Congregation,
The Episcopal Consecration as Bishop-elect Michael Chandrathas and the 25th Anniversary of The Blessing Church
My warm greetings to you all. I give thanks to the Lord for His Grace in preserving Himself The Blessing Church Evangelisch-Freikirchliche Gemeinde Blessing Gospel Mission Church and its congregation for these 25 years. It is also a personally joyous occasion as you mark the Episcopal Consecration of my brother in Christ, Bishop-elect Michael Chandrathas. What a joy and privilege to be able to celebrate such an event.
It has been my honour to know Bishop-elect since we were both young and have witnessed the strong call of the Lord on his life. Those who know Bishop-elect Chandrathas have seen that it was his life’s work to serve the Lord, and he furthers that work today.
I ask the LORD’s blessings on officiating Consecrators Bishop Antony Chandrathas, the church’s Superintendent Bishop Dietrich Denker (Germany), and Bishop Nirmal Johnson (India). May the LORD continue to Bless them and guide them in their leadership.
May the LORD also bless the family of our Bishop-elect, his wife Pastor Livia Jebamani Chandrathas, and his daughter Princess Adora Jebamary, as they move forward in their service to the church.
I regret that I am not able to be with you in person to celebrate this event due to Parliamentary duties, but I am with you today in spirit. I pray that the Lord continues to strengthen His congregation at Blessing Church as you strive by grace to bring Him to glory in your worship and sharing the Gospel. I give thanks and praise to the Lord, for we know that it is only by His grace and faithfulness that the church continues as one, and that today you consecrate our Bishop Michael Chandrathas.
Yours sincerely,
